That’s the same work happening every day in our business, with songwriters, publishers and executives whose creativity and dedication form the foundation of this industry.”
Back again in the 2026 Publisher Issue is the State of the Union roundtable, this time featuring Little Louder Music’s Arturo Buenahora, Warner Chappell Music Nashville’s Austen Adams, UMPG Nashville’s Chandler Thurston, Back Blocks Music’s Kirby Mathews and Sony Music Publishing Nashville’s Tom Luteran.
Also, in this issue is a tribute to the late Dolly Parton, who died on Aug. 25 in Nashville.

Ashley Monroe Releases Live Album Recorded At Nashville’s Station Inn
/by Lorie HollabaughAshley Monroe has released Dear Nashville (Live At The Station Inn), a live album captured during Monroe’s two sold-out performances of her concept album Dear Nashville at The Station Inn earlier this year.
The new 10-song live project features co-producer and co-writer Luke Laird and pedal steel guitarist Paul Franklin, and includes songs from Dear Nashville along with covers of Patty Loveless’ “Nothing But The Wheel” and Vince Gill’s “Whenever You Come Around.”
“Performing the Dear Nashville record with Paul Franklin and Luke Laird at the Station Inn will go down as one of the most magical nights of my entire career,” says Monroe. “The audience knew every word and completely blew us away. I truly feel like it was one of the purest forms of musical expression I’ve ever surrendered to, and I hope you can feel the spirit of that night when you listen to the live record.”
Laird adds, “The whole experience of making the album with Ashley is one of the most creatively fulfilling things I’ve ever been a part of. To have the opportunity to play it top to bottom at the legendary Station Inn with Ashley and Paul is one of those pinch me moments.”
“This recording is a musical time capsule,” says Franklin. “It captures a very special night marking the exact date when three like minded artists bonded through these amazing songs. Ashley’s voice was stellar, pouring out her heart and soul. I will never forget this moment!”
Following the album’s release, Monroe has been releasing videos to accompany each track. The video for album opener “I Hate Nashville” was shot at The Station Inn, while the video for “Steal” found Monroe reflecting on moments from across her career – from collaborating with Jack White, to sharing the stage with John Prine, and hanging out with her Pistol Annies bandmates. She also released videos for “Haunted,” “Gettin’ Out Of Hand,” “What Are We?” and “Dreaming.”
Next month, Monroe will hit the road for a joint mini-tour with Charlie Worsham that will include a stop at the Station Inn in Nashville on Nov. 16.

Country/Christian singer-songwriter Jordan Rowe has signed a joint venture label deal with Capitol Christian Music Group and Tape Room Music, building on his existing relationship with Tape Room.
“Tape Room and Capitol don’t only believe in me, but also in the direction the Lord has called me to with this music,” shares Rowe. “I’m thankful, I’m ready and I can’t wait to launch Kingdom Country with this all-star team.”
“It didn’t take long for us to recognize that Jordan is a special artist,” says Brad O’Donnell, CCMG. “The quality of his songwriting, his authenticity and the way he weaves his faith into his music set him apart in country and Christian music. We’re thrilled to welcome him to CCMG and look forward to working with Ashley and the entire Tape Room team to take his music to the world.”
“We’re so pumped to partner with Capitol Christian and Jordan, a true country boy with an authentic voice and a heart for Jesus,” adds Ashley Gorley, Tape Room. “We are excited to watch him bring the message to everyone, simply by being who he is and singing his brand of country music.”
“Jordan is an incredible artist with a clear sense of who he is and what he wants his music to stand for,” shares Alicia Pruitt, Tape Room. “We’re incredibly proud to be building this next chapter with him at Tape Room, and having Capitol Christian alongside us makes it that much more special. We believe Jordan’s music will connect with people and touch many lives through his lyrics.”
Rowe blends his Georgia roots, faith and love of country music in his signature “Kingdom Country” sound. Since signing with Tape Room Music in 2020, he has released music featuring Lainey Wilson, Tracy Lawrence, Rhett Akins and Eddie Montgomery. His songs have also been recorded by Luke Combs, Jordan Davis and Cory Asbury. Rowe has performed alongside Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi, Cole Swindell and Anne Wilson, and his work has been featured by Rolling Stone, American Songwriter and CMT.
His first single under the partnership, “If Jesus Lived In My Hometown,” will release Oct. 23.
“Writing ‘If Jesus Lived In My Hometown’ made me ask myself a hard question: if Jesus walked the streets of my town, who would I have been in the story,” adds Rowe. “I hope listeners hear it and ask themselves the same thing.”

Miranda Lambert’s ‘Velvet Rodeo’ Exhibit To Debut In National Cowgirl Museum’s New Gallery
/by Lorie HollabaughMiranda Lambert. Photo: Tyler Conrad
The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame in Fort Worth will open an exhibit honoring Miranda Lambert on Nov. 7 in the new Icons Gallery.
Created in collaboration with Lambert, “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo” features the one-of-a-kind wardrobe she wore during her Las Vegas residency. Lambert is a National Cowgirl Hall of Fame honoree, active mounted shooting competitor and horsewoman.
“Miranda’s ‘Velvet Rodeo’ styling was inspired by historic garments from iconic western tailors which she saw on display at the Museum,” says Ashley Kowalski, Curator. “We are honored to give her residency wardrobe a new stage where the collection can be appreciated in its entirety.”
“Miranda’s confidence, determination and independence make her a wonderful representative of the women we honor,” says Pat Riley, Executive Director of the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame. “Opening our Icons Gallery with this collaboration celebrates her accomplishments while giving visitors a new way to connect with a cowgirl they know and admire.”
“When I first visited the National Cowgirl Museum, I was so inspired by all of the amazing Western pieces on display that I sent a bunch of photos to my stylist, Tiffany [Gifford]. We mixed that inspiration with the heyday of Elvis to create the ‘Velvet Rodeo’ wardrobe,” says Lambert. “Seeing these pieces now have a life beyond the stage as part of the Museum’s new Icons Gallery feels really full circle and special.”
The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame’s archives house more than 4,000 artifacts and features more than 260 women in its Hall of Fame.

Rocketship AI Platform Opens To The Public
/by Lauryn SinkRocketship, the first AI platform designed to identify a song’s potential audience before release, has opened to the public.
Launched by music executive Maxwell Zotz and tech entrepreneur Billy Rodgers, the platform has undergone four months of beta testing and gathering feedback from more than 100 music industry professionals across labels, management, publishing, distribution, catalog and artist tools. Rocketship uses proprietary AI to analyze more than 80 audio, lyric and contextual parameters of an artist’s song. The platform correlates that information against millions of data points and decades of music history to deliver a comprehensive profile of the song’s potential audience. New users can submit one song to the platform for free.
Rocketship can also build full end-to-end marketing campaigns, create social content through video content uploaded by users or AI-curated clips within the platform and more.
“Artists make their most expensive decisions – which single, which audience and where to spend – before they have a single data point on how a song will land,” shares Zotz. “Rocketship gives them a real starting point. It doesn’t replace taste or instinct. It means they’re not guessing alone.”
Rocketship’s patent-pending methodology was developed with copyright compliance as a foundational requirement and reviewed in coordination with Loeb & Loeb.
