Live Nation’s Festival Passport Returns For 2018

Live Nation has reinstated its Festival Passport for 2018, more than doubling the Festival Passports available to 2,500 passes and granting purchasers general admission access to the 100+ participating festivals around the world.

Among the participating festivals are Austin City Limits Music Festival, Country LakeShake Festival, Faster Horses Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Governors Ball Music Festival and more.

Additionally, Live Nation is rolling out the first-ever VIP Festival Passport, granting 100 purchasers VIP entry. The general admission tier of the Festival Passport is $999 USD, while the VIP tier is $5,000 USD.

Social Club Misfits Launch Tour In Nashville

Capitol CMG recording artist Social Club Misfits kicked off their Into The Night Tour at Rocketown in downtown Nashville, Tennessee this week. The hip-hop duo will continue their 2018 tour through the end of April with stops in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Charlotte, Orlando and more.

The duo, comprised of Marty and Fern, released their album Into The Night on Feb. 9, 2018. They recently wrapped up The Roadshow tour with For King and Country, Natalie Grant, Matthew West, and Zach Williams.

“War Cry feat. Tauren Wells,” Social Club’s new radio release, is the group’s fastest rising single to date.

Kid Rock Launching Tour With Brantley Gilbert, Wheeler Walker Jr.

Kid Rock is heading out on tour this Summer on the Red Blooded Rock n Roll Redneck Extravaganza Tour. The tour kicks off Aug. 3 in Bangor, Maine, and will hit 15 cities nationwide before wrapping Oct. 12 in West Palm Beach. Brantley Gilbert and Wheeler Walker Jr. will join him as support for the dates.

He’ll showcase songs on the tour from his new album Sweet Southern Sugar, which has spent 13 weeks inside the Top 10 of the Country Album Sales Chart.

Tickets and VIP packages for the tour will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, April 13 at livenation.com. Fan Club members will be able to purchase tickets starting Tuesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. local time.

The entertainer will also join the WWE Hall of Fame’s Celebrity Wing tonight as a member of the Class of 2018. He’ll be inducted this evening in New Orleans during WrestleMania 34 Week in The Big Easy.

MercyMe To Launch “The Imagine Nation Tour” With Tenth Avenue North

MercyMe’s “The Imagine Nation Tour” with longtime friends Tenth Avenue North will visit over 20 cities nationwide beginning in October 2018. Indianapolis, New Orleans, San Antonio and more are on the docket for the two-month run.

I Can Only Imagine (Lionsgate, Roadside Attractions), a true story based on the life of MercyMe frontman Bart Millard who wrote the mega-hit song, shattered pre-weekend tracking expectations to become No. 3 at the box-office two weekends in a row. AEG Presents Restructures Nashville Office

AEG Presents has restructured its Nashville office, with Ali Harnell joining the Global Touring Team as Sr. VP, MusicRow has confirmed. She will focus exclusively on national and international tours, promoting outings for Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Midland, and Sugarland. She will continue to program and develop AEG Presents’ C2C Festival, and will work closely with the Touring teams to grow AEG Touring’s stable of artists.

Meanwhile, Mike DuCharme will relocate from Kansas City to Nashville to serve as VP for the Nashville office, which coincides with the start of AEG’s Nashville Yards project, including a 4,000 person-capacity venue.

Adam Weiser has been named VP, National Theaters and Clubs Team, and will relocate to Nashville from New Jersey. Weiser has already worked on tours with Chris Young, Old Dominion, and more.

The AEG Presents reorganization follows last week’s news that Lenore Kinder will exit AEG to become an agent at Paradigm.

 

 

 

 

 

Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam Team For LSD Tour

Music luminaries Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, and Dwight Yoakam will team for the LSD Tour, which launches June 12 in Boston. The tour will visit amphitheaters and theaters in major markets, before wrapping Aug. 18 in Indianapolis. Los Angeles rocker King Leg will open the shows.

The tour includes a stop at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on Aug. 12.

SiriusXM will present the tour and recently announced a 24/7 channel curated by Dwight launching in late April titled Dwight Yoakam and The Bakersfield Beat ‘Where Country Went Mod.’

Williams recently re-recorded her 1992 classic Sweet Old World for its 25th anniversary, and Earle is also touring this year in support of Copperhead Road’s 30th anniversary.

Tour opener King Leg released their Sire Records debut Meet King Leg, which was co-produced by Yoakam and Chris Lord-Alge.

Various pre-sales will begin March 26 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting March 30 at 10 a.m. local time at livenation.com.

Kiefer Sutherland will return to the road with the Reckless 2018 North American and European Tour launching April 10 with a performance at the Grand Ole Opry. When Kiefer wraps up the North American leg May 28 in Long Island, New York, he’ll jet ‘across the pond’ to play more than 18 shows throughout Europe.

“I couldn’t have imagined the depth with which I have fallen in love with touring. To have the opportunity to convey intimate, personal stories to an audience, for me, has proven to be priceless,” Kiefer said.

Devin Dawson, Caitlyn Smith To Open Summer Soul2Soul Dates With Tim And Faith

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill have announced that Caitlyn Smith and Devin Dawson will join them as support acts on the Summer 2018 leg of their Soul2Soul The World Tour.

Smith will serve as opening act from the tour kick-off date, May 31 in Richmond, Virginia, while Dawson will take over as opening act on June 26 in Bossier City, Louisiana, through the end of the summer dates.

The Soul2Soul World Tour has sold over 1 million tickets since its initial trek that spanned April-October 2017, and the tour was the No. 1 country tour in Billboard’s Boxscore and among the Top 10 North American tour and Top 20 Worldwide all-genre tours in Pollstar’s year-end 2017 charts.

Home Free Signs With CAA

Home Free

A cappella country group Home Free has signed with CAA for booking. The group was previously represented by Paradigm and continues to be managed by Luke Pierce and David Britz at WORKS Entertainment.

The group found an audience following its win on NBC’s The Sing-Off. They later signed with Columbia Records.

The group is currently on their fifth sold-out national theatre tour, to support Timeless, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Albums chart in September 2017.
