Abbie Callahan Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut
Singer-songwriter Abbie Callahan made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry on Sept. 25.
The debut coincided with the release of her sophomore EP, And For My Next Trick…, with Callahan performing the title track and the project’s breakout track, “Simon Says.”
The debut happened to fall on Dolly Day, and Callahan honored the late icon by sharing the story of her first concert, a Dolly Parton show, and how that night led to to realize she wanted to become a singer.
With more than 10 million career streams, she has made festival appearances at CMA Fest, Bonnaroo and AMERICANAFEST, and earned Artist to Watch recognition from PEOPLE, Holler and more. She recently wrapped her first headlining run with the “OptiMYSTIC Tour,” and will soon join Willow Avalon and Orville Peck on the road.
