Ella Langley Among 2026 MTV VMA Winners

Ella Langley was among the winners at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards last night (Sept. 27), taking home Best Country for “Choosin’ Texas.”

Taylor Swift took home the night’s big award for Video of the Year (“The Fate of Ophelia”), as well receiving the inaugural Artist Director award. Madonna recieved Artist of the Year, as well as Best Collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter for “Bring Your Love.” Song of the Year went to BTS’ “Swim,” while Sienna Spiro collected Best New Artist. Nirvana also received the Video Vanguard Award.

The ceremony at LA’s Peacock Theater was hosted by Snoop Dogg, and featured performances from Shaboozey, Gunna, Madonna, Carpenter, Spiro, RAYE, Sombr, Teddy Swims and LISA. Kacey Musgraves also performed a special tribute to Dolly Parton.
