Wyatt McCubbin Readies Debut Album For October
Wyatt McCubbin will release his debut album, 650, on Oct. 16 via Dave Cobb’s Lucille Records/MCA.
Recorded live to tape at Cobb’s Thunderbolt Studios in Savannah, GA, 650 is the culmination of nearly 2,000 songs McCubbin has written over the last decade and a half. The album’s 10 songs were written alongside Rhett Akins, Jessi Alexander, Josh Kear, Ray Fulcher, Shane Minor and more.
“The only thing I wanted to say with this record is what I have lived,” McCubbin says. “This 36 minutes is really sixteen years in the making.”
Alongside the album announcement, McCubbin released his new single “All Outta You.”
“‘All Outta You’ is one of those songs tailor-made for a lonely motel room or a midnight drive,” he says. “I love songs with a dark, grungy edge. Sad country music will always be undefeated.”
As a songwriter, McCubbin has earned cuts with Luke Combs, Zach Top, Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson, among others, earning a spot on MusicRow’s Top 100 Songwriters list in both 2024 and 2025. For the first time in his career, he is a co-writer on three songs currently climbing the country radio charts including Riley Green’s “Think As You Drunk,” Cody Johnson’s “Horseback,” and Jon Pardi’s “Boots Off.”
Next month, McCubbin will continue supporting Zach Top on his “Cold Beer & Country Music Tour,” making stops in Bend, San Diego, Anaheim, San Antonio and more. Next year, he will support Luke Combs for 12 shows on his “My Kinda Saturday Night” tour.
