The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame unveiled the first round of nominees for its 2026 class. 12 accomplished songwriters representing two of the organization’s five categories were announced, with the full class of inductees to be revealed in the coming weeks before this year’s official induction ceremony. The Contemporary Songwriters category features Jim Beavers, Shawn Camp, Rodney Clawson, Dallas Davidson, Marv Green, Lee Thomas Miller, Neil Thrasher and Chris Tompkins, while the Contemporary Songwriter/Artist nominees include Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Taylor Swift and Phil Vassar.
Elsewhere, River House Artists continues to expand its footprint with the launch of The House, the company’s new artist management division.
This week’s edition also highlights a busy stretch of dealmaking across Music City. Myles Erlick has entered into a joint venture agreement with the Huff Co and ONErpm, while Robyn Ottolini has also signed with ONErpm. The Kruse Brothers have joined the roster at Sony Music Publishing Nashville, and Jackson Wendell has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music Nashville and Perfect Game Creative. On the touring front, Highway Home has secured representation with WME.
