Flatland Cavalry Showcase ‘Work Of Heart’

February 11, 2026/by Lauryn Sink

Flatland Cavalry will release their fifth full-length studio album, Work of Heart, on March 27 via Lost Highway.

The band, composed of Cleto Cordero, Jason Albers, Jonathan Saenz, Reid Dillon, Wesley Hall and Adam Gallegos, recorded the project at Matchbox Studios in Austin, Texas last year with producer Dwight A. Baker. Cordero wrote on all 12 tracks alongside Aaron Eshuis, Luke Laird, Aaron Raitiere, Rodney Clawson and more.

“This album is a collection of songs of life, love, and loss [that were] collected over a season of living, learning, and growing,” says frontman and lyricist Cordero. “My approach has been the same the whole time in the sense of showing up to write a song with all my heart, my mind, and soul.”

The band gave fans a preview of the album with “Gone,” “On and On” and their just-released debut single to country radio, “Never Comin’ Back.”

Flatland Cavalry is currently amidst the “Spring Tour 2026,” supporting Lainey Wilson throughout February in cities across Australia and New Zealand. The band’s headlining run starts March 19 in Mobile, Alabama with dates across the United States.
