Cole Swindell Unveils New Deluxe Album, ‘Stereotype Broken,’ Out In April
Multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Cole Swindell has dropped his new single, “Drinkaby,” as he also announces his deluxe album, Stereotype Broken, will be available on April 28.
The single will go for radio adds on Monday, Jan. 30 and is one of three new songs included on the deluxe album. Written by Jon Pardi, Jordan Schmidt, Michael Hardy and Hunter Phelps, “Drinkaby” follows Swindell’s three Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 singles from Stereotype: “Never Say Never” featuring Lainey Wilson, “Single Saturday Night” and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” which remained in the top 5 for 23 consecutive weeks.
“’Drinkaby’, from the first time I heard it I pictured it being a huge show opener,” Swindell recalls. “The guitar lick in the intro just grabs you and doesn’t let you go. I’m not sure if there is such thing as a fun breakup song but that’s kind of what this is. Glad it’s finally out and can’t wait to get out there and play it live.”
Following his two sold out, headlining tours in 2022, “Down To The Bar Tour” and “Back Down To The Bar Tour,” Swindell will join multi-Platinum entertainer Thomas Rhett this summer for his “Home Team Tour 23.”
