Gabby Barrett Receives Platinum Surprise For “Pick Me Up”
Gabby Barrett currently has the top streaming song by a female artist on the country charts, as her top 5 single, “Pick Me Up,” picks up a Platinum certification from the RIAA. Country Countdown USA radio host, Lon Helton, recently surprised Barrett with the certification news as she co-hosted the show for the first time.
As found on the extended version of her Platinum-certified debut album, Goldmine (Deluxe), Barrett’s backroad ballad, penned by Barrett, Ross Copperman, and Jon Nite, has surpassed 225 million global streams to date.
Mary Loving Named Exec. Director of Travel & Events At Travel Stars, Inc.
Mary Loving, who previously served as Director of Travel and Relations for BMI, has joined Travel Stars, Inc. as Executive Director of Travel and Events.
During Loving’s two decades at BMI, she was responsible for booking travel and securing airline partnerships and premiere destinations for performing songwriters. She was also charged with helping grow the Key West Songwriter Festival and was instrumental in the creation of events such as Maui Songwriters Festival, Mountain High Songwriters Festival, Hawks Cay Keys to the Country and more.
Loving will continue working in conjunction with The Key West Songwriters Festival and Annapolis Festival securing talent and travel for the writers. Prior to BMI, she worked with Steve Cropper Travel.
Tenasie Courtright Joins Jody Williams Songs
Tenasie Courtright has joined the Jody Williams Songs team as Creative Coordinator.
A Belmont University graduate with a degree in Music Business, Courtright previously worked as a brand ambassador for Simple Logistics Solutions in Nashville.

Brei Carter Inks With Brown Lee Entertainment
Brei Carter has signed with Nashville-based Brown Lee Entertainment (BLE) for exclusive global music distribution through The Orchard, and digital marketing services.
“When we set out to start BLE, we collectively had our hearts set on finding that right female country artist with an amazing voice and an uncanny writing ability that will cross various genre formats,” notes BLE founder Dewayne Brown. “Two years later we found Brei Carter and we are so proud of her body of work that we couldn’t say no. We are so happy that she chose BLE to call her home.”
BLE is headed and founded by former RED Music/Sony Music Entertainment Executive Dewayne Brown, along with his team of Nancy Lee, Michael “Benjy” Cruz and Pepper Meiler.
