Adam Hambrick Makes Opry Debut
Adam Hambrick celebrated his Grand Ole Opry debut Saturday night (May 11). Introduced by long-standing Opry member, Jeannie Seely, he performed his debut single “Rockin’ All Night Long” and “Broken Ladder.” The night was especially meaningful to Hambrick as he stepped into the circle for the first time and spoke about the recent passing of his grandfather, who he had always hoped would see him play the Opry stage. The guitar he played for his debut was the one his grandfather gave him, as a moving tribute to the man who inspired his love of country music.
“In a lot of ways, The Opry is the heart of country music. It’s where it was born, and it’s the common thread that winds through its history. To me, playing that stage is getting to be a part of a tradition that has shaped my love for music and storytelling,” said Hambrick.
