Gotee Records Adds Richlin To Roster
Gotee Records has signed Brandon Richardson, who goes professionally by the name Richlin, to its roster. On Friday, Feb. 7, Richlin releases his debut single, “Royal Blood,” will will be offered in a dual-single format, featuring the original track and an intimate worship version, “Royal Blood (Spilled For Us).”
Richlin is managed by First Company Management’s Mike McCloskey and will be on tour with labelmate Ryan Stevenson beginning in April.
“I want to craft and produce art that’s vertical, but say it and produce it in a way that’s reaching a different demo,” Richlin explains about his music and new single. “We’re missing an entire generation musically. I want to create something that is synergistic with reaching people in their 20s and people in their 50s. I don’t even know if it’s possible, but I want to go after it and it’s in my heart.”
Richlin grew up in small town Paisley, Oklahoma. Growing up the son of a rancher, Richlin openly listened to both country music and Contemporary Christian tunes, but also soaked up ’90s-era hip-hop culture, all of which are evident in his music.
Gotee Records was formed in 1994 by producers Joey Elwood and Todd Collins, alongside Grammy winner TobyMac. Over the past two decades, the label has helped launch the careers of artists including Relient K, Aaron Cole, Capital Kings, Family Force 5, Jamie Grace and more.
