Manuel To Showcase Pieces At ‘Go West Young Man’ Exhibit, Opening Nov. 16

Known as the “Stylist to the Stars,” Manuel’s signature designs are known worldwide for their elaborate, rhinestone embellishments which have covered the rich and famous for dozens of years. Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Marty Stuart, Dwight Yoakam, and many more have worn Manuel’s designs.

Manuel created one unique jacket for every state in the United States and the entire collection has been exhibited only four times since being created in 2005. Twelve of Manuel’s custom created jackets focusing on various states will be on display as part of the ‘Go West Young Man: Western Frontier Couture of Manuel’ exhibit at Monthaven Arts & Cultural Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee Nov. 16, 2019 through Jan. 5, 2020. Monthaven’s exhibit is curated by his daughter, Morelia Cuevas, and is free and open to the public.
