Weekly Register: Tyler Childers Debuts At No. 1 With New Album ‘Country Squire’
Tyler Childers unseats Luke Combs at No. 1 this week on the country albums chart, as Childers’ album Country Squire debuts in the top spot with 32K in total consumption, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
Combs’ This One’s For You falls to No. 2 with 22K in total consumption, followed by Dan + Shay‘s self-titled album at No. 3 with 16K. Morgan Wallen‘s If I Know Me is at No. 4 with 12K, followed by Combs’ The Prequel EP at No. 5 with 12K.
Meanwhile, Blanco Brown continues his reign on the country streaming songs chart this week, as “The Git Up” moves 23 million streams (178 million to date). Blake Shelton‘s “God’s Country” is at No. 2 with 9.6 million streams, followed by Combs’ “Beer Never Broke My Heart” at No. 3 with 9 million streams. Wallen’s three-week No. 1 “Whiskey Glasses” is at No. 4 with 8.2 million streams, while Combs’ “Beautiful Crazy” rounds out the Top 5 with 7.3 million streams this week.
