Twitter Pulls Music App From Apple Store
Twitter announced Friday (March 21) that it has pulled its Twitter #Music app from Apple’s App store. For those who currently utilize Twitter #Music, it will cease working on April 18, approximately one year after it launched.
The app allowed users to discover music via tweets from friends and artists, as well as listen to music using Spotify or Rdio, watch YouTube videos and purchase music on iTunes. The app utilized Brisbane, Australia-based software company We Are Hunted, which recommends new music based on social media conversations.
