Paisley Sells Out West Coast Run, Heads For “Tonight Show”
Brad Paisley’s American Saturday Night Tour whipped around the west coast this past weekend with four sold-out shows in Fresno, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Reno. The L.A. Staples Center was packed with over 13,000 fans, including celebrities Sheryl Crowe, William Shatner, The Jonas Brothers, and members of REO Speedwagon.
The American Saturday Night Tour with special guests Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore will take a break this week and then concludes next weekend, March 4-6, with stops in Greenville, SC; Knoxville, TN; and Charleston, SC.
Paisley will return to the west coast on March 1 as the musical guest for Jay Leno’s first show back as host of The Tonight Show. Also on the line-up are Jamie Foxx and Olympic Gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn.
I think its shameful how you are posting articles and info on everyone’s tour but Tim Mcgraw. He is the hardest worker in the business right now. He is filming a movie during the day, 12-14 hours days then over the weekend flying out to do his shows for his Southern Voice tour. He has two opening acts but still his part of the show is TWO hours long. Finishes on Sunday night then will fly back to Nashville to start filming the movie again. What other artist is working that hard, none. So far he has done six shows of this HUGE tour and everyone was a sellout and EVERYONE gave him rave reviews. Pitiful that NONE of the country music sites have even mention his tour but you sure can mention everyone else’s tour.
Just some of the reviews:
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Country star Tim McGraw put on a rowdy, fantastic show for the sold-out crowd at Huntington’s Big Sandy Superstore Arena on Saturday night.

If the Sovereign Center was a house of worship Sunday night, then Tim McGraw was the spiritual leader. The 42-year-old prompted the capacity crowd with, “Can I get an Amen?!” before launching into a song that long ago became a battle cry against country music purists.
“Things Change” isn’t just a track that McGraw debuted on an industry awards show a decade ago, it is a song that defines a career now going some 20 years strong with no hint of slowing down.
“Some say it’s too country, some say it’s too rock and roll/but it’s just good music if you can feel it in your soul,” McGraw sang, high-fiving and fist-bumping fans during a two-hour performance in which he traversed nearly every inch of the stage — including a sleek catwalk that nearly ran the length of the arena floor.

From the moment he stepped on stage and walked out onto the catwalk, he wowed the audience with his everyman charm and aw-shucks grin.
He waved hello to his Uncle Hank and other family members in the audience, slapped hands with fans, tweaked the nose of a little girl in the pit and generally looked like he was having a great time.

He sat alone on the stage and played his guitar and performed the first song he learned on his guitar, Alabama’s song Feels So Right.

Brad’s show was great. Staples Center was really rocking on Friday night.
